Detroit Riots - 1967
This reminds me of a story my father used to tell me. His mother and father, my grandparents, owned a mini mart in South Central Los Angeles called “LeBlue’s Market” during the 1960s. My grandfather had to spray “Soul Brother” on the windows during the Watts Rebellions of 1965 to keep protestors from burning down his store.
